Lai Lai Express - Charlotte

No long waiting time! friendly staff and great tasting. I like the soups.

If they are looking for a go-to-Chinese takeout spot, that's not it. I ordered a few times from here and it was quite unconsistent (sometimes ok, sometimes bad) but it's close enough where we don't make it. tonight was our worst experience and makes me share this review. I ordered a canton soup that is a super simple app to make, but it tasted like dirty water. I couldn't eat it after a few sips. I am convinced that I was not actually served broth, which is coarse! for entrees we went with the dinner combo for two and I got the general tsos and pork loam and my fiancé got the bark and brokkoli. Both meals were cold, and the meat for both had super strange texture. we both haven't finished. I had better in panda express to be honest. again it was never so bad, so we have been in the past a few times, but this one confirms that this place is less than average and we will not return. will not be recommending!

I go to this place like any other week, it's so good! my favorite restaurant in charlotte, by far! go and protect this place!

Good food, occasionally delivered between 20 minutes and two hours after their order. they'll pick it up instead.

I thought this was going to be cheap fast food Asian but it was delicious! plenty of food. the sauce wasn't too sweet. there was this fire-roasted taste to it that was heavenly. big, plump shrimps and huge veggies. great quality! strongly recommend!
