Hooters - Charlotte

The food was enjoyable, and although the service was a bit slow due to the rush after a major sporting event, it was still an overall pleasant experience.

We chose this restaurant after being asked to leave the Rooftop Bar at the Grand Bohemian Hotel in Charlotte for wearing sandals and flip-flops, despite being well dressed. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as we had a fantastic experience enjoying food and drinks with friends. The service was exceptional; our server, Sarah, warmly welcomed our large group, and we all had a wonderful time celebrating together.

When we arrived, the initial welcome from two young hostesses was less than enthusiastic; they seemed disinterested in having us there. They explained that they were short-staffed, which I understood, but our group was quite large. I suggested splitting us into two tables, but that request was denied even though the restaurant wasn’t full that Wednesday. Feeling unwelcome, we considered going elsewhere. Just then, Sarah came to our rescue. She insisted that we stay and offered to take care of us personally. We decided to remain, and I’m so glad we did. Sarah provided excellent service; she made us feel welcome and took great care of us throughout the evening. Our food arrived promptly and everything went smoothly. Sarah truly is a standout employee and deserves recognition for her efforts, especially while the two original hostesses continued to sit at the front. Thanks to Sarah, we ended our night on a high note, and I personally appreciate her dedication!

I work nearby and often seek a quick lunch, but Hooters on Trade Street offers more than just a meal—it’s a whole experience. The two lovely servers, Thai and Asia, are exceptional. Their service is prompt, and I’ve never encountered anyone as friendly and genuine as they are. They are the reason that my friends and I keep coming back every week during our breaks.
