Hickory Tavern - Charlotte

Enjoying brunch for Easter 2022 with the Grits, Bacon and Egg Bowl Description is perfect: Soft scrambled eggs served over North Carolina cheese grottes, bacon and toast. All flavors in well tied, it was a nice light meal. Service and atmosphere were great.

Hickory Tavern Providence was able to accommodate our large party following our wedding and reception! The manager, Paul, worked with us for several weeks prior to make sure everything ran smoothly. The service was amazing, even though they were busy and short staffed. All of the staff was so kind and accommodating. We will definitely be making this restaurant one of our frequent date night spots!

I was sitting at a nearby booth when I spotted Jerry Rice, the Hall of Fame San Francisco 49er. Honestly, I had a hard time concentrating on my Cuban sandwich, which was delicious by the way, because I was so caught up in the presence of the greatest of all time!

Food was delicious. Waitress was friendly and efficient. Also, I got some cute photos and one with my fun waitress. The patio is a vibe. We're definitely coming back. I loved it. This was perfect for my birthday.

Our food and service were both very good! The hostess said they were short staffed and only had one cook and that it would take at least a half hour to get our food. We'll, it only took 15 minutes and our dinner was delicious! I got the blackened shrimp tacos with tater tots I love tater tots) and my wife got the build your own salad. Both our dinners we're great!. My wife's salad was hug and fresh! We also got an order of roasted brussel sprouts and they were also delicious. Ana, our server, was very nice and pleasant and did a great job taking care of us. Short staffed or not, everyone at Hickory Tavern worked very hard and did a great job!
