Futo Buta - Charlotte

Loved thunfischrei reis crispy squares and the pig bell bunkers. the Tonkatsu wheels were really delicious. the beer selection was also great and the service fantastic!

This place is AMAZING! Small but the atmosphere is great. Would come here again and again. Food was bomb and the server (Daniel) was friendly and filled with knowledge of the menu. Would recommend this place to anyone. Moving to NC from Florida, this Futo Buta kills all the other Ramen places I've ever been to in Florida or North Carolina. Keep up the good work guys and gals! The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting! Seating is pretty limited. Food was prepared and served quickly though I'd like to note that they do add a service charge on your bill for dining in 8 and some change in my case). I got two sake drinks and two ramen bowls with my friend which ended up coming to $69 with a reasonable tip.

Great location, right off the train station. Staff is fabulous. Good food. The restaurant itself is a bit on the smaller/crammed side. I personally enjoy that for a ramen shop, but I know it's not to everyone's likings. Ramen is tasty and flavorful with great ingredients.

The appetizers were good and the ramen was really flavorful. They have really elevated ramen. The prices are bit high compared to some places, but the quality is not too bad. The broth can be a bit fatty and the portion can be a lot for some. The toppings were good and the noodles were not too soggy and was still a bit chewy. Not as spicy as I thought it was going to be.
