Finally, the best taste of Pad Thai and Drunken Noodle found in Charlotte. We are looking for authentic pad Thai and my goodness Aroy Thai supplies the best Thai food. We will again thank you for preparing delicious meals.

Thai food was terrible. I ordered something from a photo that was crispy with chili peppers. They had no brown rice I accepted, but when I ordered the food was $26. The soup I inherited was only $6-7, so the meal was 20?! I paid 20, but I expect it's really good. That was soggy Chinese food. I really could have prepared this at home. I called to check if I ordered the wrong one, but they said it didn't look like that because I ordered shrimp instead of chickens. They also said mine had no chili peppers because I didn't ask to be spicy. I asked about chili oil at check-out and was rejected and said they had nothing hot except Sriracha. When I came home, the food was mediocre. I was hoping my mother soup wasn't what I wanted for the meal. I warmed it up today and it looked very funny when I saw it first. When I heated it, it doesn't smell good. The shrimps and everything looked and smelled bad. Not fragrant or Thai as ever. Super disappointed. It was full of mushrooms. So many mushrooms it was like a mushroom soup. I like them in my Thom-Yum, but that was so many and overwhelming, while the whole broth was like a mushroom broth and it wasn't even fresh smell. Needless to say, I never tried it once. It went right into the garbage. I'll never order from there again. The highlight of my weekend is ruined. I don't want my money back. The customer service they provided personally and via the phone shows me that probably is not even an option. Sorted from here is mainly based on the reviews, so I'm not sure why the food was so bad.

Had the penultimate spicy level pad you see with Tofu and loved it! The Broccoli had a great crunch even after reheating in the oven. Everything had great taste and spices. To cover, I enjoy some heat, but not so hot that I sweat. My husband had curry and was not a fan of rice (Hence 4 stars), but not a problem we can add with rice, made it home. Will definitely reorder and try the other noodles!

Drunken noodle with chicken was my order. I've tried lots of Thai places around the city. This one is pretty good. Portion size is about the same as everywhere else, price is a little more. Heat level is good and the vegetable mix is solid. Give it a try, but it's takeout only.

The food here is delicious but not nearly worth the hour wait it took to have them prepared. I only ordered two items T1 &T3 and it took well past an hour for them to prepare them. I witnessed several delivery drivers come to pick up orders with at least one being told it would be an hour wait. There were more than a few who came in and picked orders quickly. Again the food was good, but nothing that would justify in hour wait. I'm going to assume by the traffic that they were fairly busy and possibly shorthanded. I would still eat here the prices were reasonable and the food was good. And I also would still recommend to others and just tell them to be prepared to wait.
