Amélie's French Bakery Cafe Uptown

So a fantastic place! I really fell into this place by chance and I am so glad that I am!! It was a really great environment with creative art installations! The food was absolutely delicious! The staff were super friendly and committed! It was really cool to watch the bakery that makes all their fabulous desserts!!! Service is fast, efficient and friendly! I would want 100% everyone g come here and eat a great breakfast / lunch! The desserts are beyond this world! I'm 100% again!

Perfect location in downtown Charlotte. Near the convention center and most hotels in the area. Great mood, excellent service in a spacious place with unique decor. Excellent selection of bread, pastries and sandwiches. Great coffee too. The fact is that I came back every day during my 8-day stay in the area.

We loved the interiors in Amelie, it is very eclectic, imaginative fun! Perfect for lunch with friends or children, quick drink or coffee Dessert Stop. The sandwiches are a bit expensive, but I think you pay for the ambience and their longstanding reputation in Charlotte. The desserts were delicious. We loved the hazelnut tortoise.

This place is charming! I love all different lights and seating areas! It is large and spacious, but cozy and picturesque. The food is also excellent. I had a double-baked chocolate peanut butter Croissant with a cafe au lait. Oddly! Some Macarons too. Delicious!

Amélie’s has always been my favorite. Everything is very delicious and fresh. During the difficult fines we are facing, they are doing a good job staying open and serving customers the best way they can. I hope this beautiful place and other places will go back to normal.
