Amelie’s French Bakery Cafe Carmel Commons

This was our first visit to the restaurant. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the baked goods, mostly. The petit strawberry shortcake was delicious, but the cinnamon buns were very dry and we couldn't eat them. We will try microwaving them later. Thank you!

If you're looking to grab a coffee in South Charlotte, Amelie's is the place to go! I always love checking out their selection of beautiful pastries and tasty items on display. Each visit, I try to pick something new and always end up taking something home. It's always a fun experience!

I absolutely adore this place! The high deck offers plenty of space and the funky, French-inspired decor creates a peaceful atmosphere ideal for working or casual chats. Plus, the macarons are absolutely amazing. I feel like I'm in paradise!

Beautiful place. wonderful atmosphere. not for the gluten-sensitive. large croissants and a large selection of tarts and macaroons. would definitely recommend, but not if they have a tree nut or gluten allergy. the options are very limited for the tree nuts, as most dessert options are available in them. eating is delicious. go there for a splurg. unique and wonderful layout.
