Scovies Gourmet - Charlevoix

Better late than never in writing a review. My partner and I were in Charlevoix the week of April 10th and had 3 meals at this amazing restaurant. The first was Tuesday for a late lunch. I had the Bada Bing panini and it was amazing. My partner had the Cherry Brie burger and it was delicious as well. She almost ordered a second for later. Since we were going to be out late, we ordered the Judge to take back to the hotel and enjoy once we were done exploring. Since the sandwich had a mustard type sauce, they were kind enough to put it on the side(allergies for one of us) and included mayo for another sauce. This sandwich was huge and we had no problems spitting it and still feeling like we had a full meal. Then on Wednesday my partner wanted crepes, but I chose to go right back and get Scovie's Northern Michigan chicken salad sandwich. It was huge and very delicious. The only thing that would have made it better was if it would have been a panini. I mentioned this and they said I should have asked and they would have done that for me. Their chips were amazing, but I forgot to ask if they were house made or a store chip, either way don't pass them up.

Now renamed The Happy Troll. We had excellent cocktails (loved the Lavender Lemondrop) and lunch. The Asian Chicken wrap was the Oriental Chicken Salad in Wrap form was tasty. The Alpine burger was delicious. The French Dip also delicious! We were too full to try desert. We would definitely come here again!
