Megamania Family Playland - Charlestown

One thing to note: socks are required—no shoes or bare feet are allowed in the play areas. I wore flats, so I just observed from the sidelines. There's an enormous slide that I initially thought would be daunting for little ones, and both nieces were too scared to try it. Unfortunately, no double riding (on laps) is permitted, so as much as I would have loved to help them conquer their fear, I couldn't. We each received a complimentary drink voucher for coffee, tea, or a pre-mixed beverage. It took a little while for our buzzers to go off, likely because there were many parents needing their caffeine fix. When it came to ordering food, we were given a card to keep track of our orders, making it easy to add items as we went along. This system worked well since we ordered at different times and simply passed the card to whomever was ordering next—making it simple for my brother, who treated the group! My sister-in-law made the birthday cake and had to sign a form confirming it contained no nuts. Overall, I find myself inclined to give this place three stars: it's loud, filled with children, has a somewhat messy atmosphere, and is pretty average for adults. But I have to remember, it’s not about us—it’s about the kids, and they had a fantastic time. So, setting aside my childless viewpoint, I'm giving it four stars.

It is loud, but the food is good and the children (3 under 11) love it!

Great place BUT it needs a deep deep clean!!!!! And new toys/ soft play and new balls for the ball pit!! You guys have enough money to spruce things up a bit so stop being so stingy and clean properly!! Your surfaces are sticky also!! Just clean properly and you should be checking childrens temperatures when they come into the venue as I notice a lot of sick kids running around!!

Excellent place for kids. Will good options for adults as well.
