Grill 225 - Charleston

Great food and fantastic service. Prices are expensive but hey it's downtown. My steak was cooked to perfection.

Ignore their guidelines for proper attire. Most people came in casual and we even saw a guy in tattered jean shorts. Food was underwhelming. Steaks over salted. So many better restaurants at this price point.

The rooftop bar has a great view and a nice menu! The food in the restaurant is delicious with a bread basket, salads, seafood, and steaks. The service was good but has room for improvement. The feel/atmosphere is a little pretentious. Overall, I would go back again, especially to the rooftop bar.

Grill 225 is the best. I live in Charleston and the food at Grill 225 surpassed many other fine dining restaurants in the area. The filet mignon had impeccable flavor, along with the sautéed jumbo mushrooms. Overall I would highly recommend Grill 225 when looking for a wonderful fine dining restaurant in Charleston!

Food was so good, atmosphere was about what you’d expect, service was good the waiter was super nice, the host was okay, I say only okay because when I went in there he had given us a very judgmental and unfriendly look, perhaps it’s because I’m a younger guy maybe because I had tattoos on my arms either way it’s super unprofessional and impolite to have that kind of expression due to how someone looks especially the front of house
