This restaurant has the most beautiful ambience. It has outdoor seating in nooks and crannies among absolutely gorgeous tropical foliage with fans and breezes keeping it so comfortable. The food is wonderful and the service is superb. It has history and elegance.

We chose this restaurant to experience authentic SC good. Cocktails were amazing! She-crab soup was creamy and tasty! A little disappointed with the fried green tomatoes. Two thin tiny tomatoe slices in a really hard crispy batter. Accompaniments were nice though. I was expecting a lot from the shrimps and grits. Grits were great but the barbecue sauce on the shrimps was overwhelming. Jambalaya was nice. Plates are huge and we had leftovers. We couldn’t eat dessert!

Last night, we had one of the best meals in Charleston! Our server, Ariel, was the best. Her suggestions and overall care for us was on point and top notch. Food was delicious and the portions were very nice. We will definitely return soon!
