Groucho's Deli - Chapin

Really enjoyed the sandwich I had here. Had a club and it was delicious. The wife had the Apollo and she enjoyed it too. Her sandwich came with a sauce that complimented our sandwiches perfectly! Looking forward to the next time.

We often order lunch from this place and have consistently enjoyed both the food and the service!

I arrived at the restaurant when it was empty and was asked by the waitress, who seemed distracted by her TV and a game of Uno, to wait. After a considerable amount of time, she finally approached me to take my order, informing me that it would take a little while. During my wait, I noticed three other customers came in to pick up their orders, while two others placed their orders. My waiting time felt much longer than expected, so I stepped outside for a smoke. After finishing my cigarette, I returned to the restaurant and waited an additional 10 minutes for my sandwich. When I finally received it, I checked to ensure that my extra sauce was included, as I really didn’t want to make the trip back just for that. Thankfully, it was there! Kudos to the kitchen for that. The main downside of my experience was feeling somewhat overlooked at the beginning, which contributed to the lengthy wait.

The service was fantastic, provided by a friendly young staff. The chili was absolutely delicious!
