Steak and ale pie was absolutely beautiful portion sizes are really good will definitely be coming here more. Staff are very friendly and helpful, the whole place is very clean and looks amazing inside drinks are good overall amazing

Nice enough food, however in my chilli con carne I had a sharp serrated plastic lid. I told the waitress, and although she said sorry it was the sort of sorry you'd get for just bumping into someone on the street! I don't think she really thought of the seriousness of it being in there!

Nice food but reminds me more of a wetherspoons type place x

The dining experience was incredible, and the service was outstanding. The bar staff were very friendly.

I would not recommend this restaurant for vegans. They claim to have a vegan menu, but none of the items are actually vegan. We ordered vegan sausage, maischebsen, and Yorkshire pudding. After finishing our meal, we were told that the only vegan item on our plate was the salad. When I brought this up to the staff, they insisted that I had misread the menu and that "wg" is vegetarian while "w" is vegan. They also tried to convince me that their lasagne was vegan, even though it contained a meat-based sauce. Overall, the restaurant did not provide a satisfactory vegan dining experience.
