Contribuiți la feedbackMy favorite restaurant in Chapel Hill, hands down. I'm partial to the spicy vegetarian Korean Ramyun, but everything on the menu is fresh and flavorful. Let them up-sell you the $1.50 hot and sour soup, which is probably the best I've had.
Great food, comparable to the food I've had in Asia. The servers are very nice. I've been about 4 times and every time I try something different and it's perfect. The food is fresh and doesn't make you feel sick like Merlion or PF Chang's. Love it.
Excellent, helpful service. Was very attentive to my gluten-free and dairy-free needs. Good food. Nice decor.
After visiting Singapore for a first class training on Malaysian food, it was a pleasure to find a local mom and pop restaurant serving authentic char kway teow, delicious Malaysian curries and a top notch pad thai. The owners are super friendly, always remember your name and preferences, and they are happy to accommodate vegetarian/vegan requests. This is a great place to go if you 've got some people who eat meat and some who don 't. They make amazing and unusual special order vegetarian dishes if you call ahead like, believe it or not, veggie 'intestines '! They 've done special order veggie meals for us several times a wonderful yet extremely affordable luxury.
Mei Asian gives you a pleasant array of Asian dishes. The Malaysian curry dishes are delicious, e.g., the roast pork Malaysian curry noodle soup. I have tried several appetizers. as well as the Kung Pao Calamari, which is distinct from the (rather boring and often gross) Kung Pao chicken found in many Chinese restaurants. The staff is friendly and fast. I hope that they continue to do well, as they are a relatively new restaurant. Try them out!
