Coco Espresso Bistro - Chapel Hill

Coco is a cozy, roomy establishment perfect for a chilly day! We ordered hot chocolates and were surprised to find out they do not serve any dairy, only soy milk. Despite this, we enjoyed our 12-ounce Cocoas, with a total bill around $10. I suggest providing milk as an option for those who prefer it. I appreciated the atmosphere, but wish they had more non-vegan options available.

Lovely ambiance, tasty food, but small servings and expensive prices marred our dining experience. The restaurant's decor is stunning and we enjoyed the overall vibe. The highlight: the food was flavorful and even our meat-eating friends were impressed. While the service was slow, the staff was friendly. However, our group of six unanimously felt that the portions were inadequate - some of us left hungry and even had to eat a second meal later. It seemed as though the servings were cut in half, and we wondered if they were short on ingredients that day. The high prices would have been more justified with larger portions. Perhaps drinks and snacks would be a better option than a full lunch. Maybe breakfast or dinner would offer better value for the portion size.

I visited this restaurant for breakfast today and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered the Samoa cookie latte, blueberry scone latte, bagel breakfast sandwich, and chipotle breakfast sandwich. The lattes were delicious and not too sweet. The sandwiches were also excellent. I will definitely be returning!

Atmosphere is great, staff is friendly, lots of food options! Lots of students and the seating is kinda crammed together. I ordered a matcha latte which was a really bad ?matcha mix? kinda thing. If you know, you know. Wouldn?t recommend. Also ordereda ?wild mushroom and arugula toast? which was yummy, but pathetic for $12-$13 price point. $3 side of fries was goodthough Overall a nice place to come and do work but I wouldn?t go there for the drinks food

So thrilled to have discovered this gem on my recent trip to Chapel Hill. I found my happy place. ???? As a gluten-free vegan, a way of life that has now offered me great relief from arthritic pain and inflammation, I finally walked into a beautiful,inviting space where my food was mainstream! I felt so validated and excited. The menu was appetizing no matter what your foodpreferences were. Bravo Coco ?????????????????? Thank you!
