Great, authentic Mexican food off the beaten path. This family-run gem of a restaurant is what makes traveling so much fun. Provecho!

This place is so good and so cheap!!! We had the steak pambazo, pork pazole, and the burrito especial. All 3 were so delicious!!!! We also had 2 cokes and 2 bottled waters and the entire bill was $163 pesos (less than $9 USD)! We were the only 2 gringos when we were there but the staff is very helpful and put up with my poor spanish with a smile! We will go back before we leave Chapala! Highly recommend!

Love this place! Everything is tasty with good portions, great flavor and low prices! They don't put spice in and have salsa at the table so you can control the level. Kind and efficient servers and the place is so cute! Had to go back twice in our short trip. Highly recommend!
