Casita Del Molcajete - Chapala

Este restaurante tiene una amplia gama de platillos para todos los gustos. Los molcajetes llegan hirvientes y mantienen la temperatura del contenido bastante tiempo caliente mientras se consume. Lástima que abran tan tarde pues no es opción para el brunch los lunes, no sé si otros días abran más temprano.

We've been a couple of times to this restaurant and never been too impressed but our visit last night was really very, very good. The arachara molcajetes were excellent as were the free margaritas. Not too powerful which was nice. The service was quick and...friendly and the price was deffinatly edible. Will be back.

Always swift service and great value. Can't beat tthe location for people watching. Great value fajitas.

We tried this place as our search for good restaurants on the lake. They sat us upstairs, all by ourselves, which at first I thought was nice. Unfortunately the old saying out of sight, out of mind was now in motion. We got our drinks...fairly quickly but our food forever minutes. We almost left but enjoyed the view and music next door we stayed. Our food do finally come and was a truck load. These were the biggest plates of food I ever saw. The tastes were quite good but not worth the wait. We had food left over but didn't take it home. If we had been sat downstairs and in sight of our servers we may have had a different outcome but we didn't and weren't happy campers.

One of our favs in Chapala. I have tried the Molcajetes most everywhere in the region and these are hands down the best. Free Margaritas aren’t bad either. We usually get the Mixto with Shrimp, Chicken and Beef. One order is more than enough to...share and we also always bring some home) One time we went and it was so salty I couldn’t eat it, so now I always say NO Salt
