Chima Steakhouse - Chaotte

My husband brings me hear for my birthday every year and I love it. The food was fantastic as always. Our waiter* was great. He was attentive and kind. We were seated next to a large group and the servers kept coming to them first and by the time they were done getting anything there was nothing for them to come to us with. I mentioned this to the waiter and he had them start attending the 2 smaller tables first (ours and another nearby). My only complaint is the fact that it seems the dress code is no longer enforced. Which I know seems petty, but part of the experience of going to a high end restaurant for me, is to see everyone dressed in their best.

Ms. Cenya the server helps a lot and able to accommodate us well and Mr. DeAndre the Manager was able to talk to us and we were able to express to him how good the service is and mostly the food. The only problem we encounter is my friend who lived in there cannot get a booking so she used my name and email address to book the reservation. But all throughout the experience in there, it was amazing and they will leave a great experience for the first timer like me.

I liked it, didn't love it. Lovely atmosphere, excellent service, however, It's not my type of restaurant. We went with 2 friends that were big meat eaters and gauchos were constantly coming to the table to cut serve meat. I like to order 1 meal and dine in peace. It was too much hustle and bustle around us. My husband felt the exact same way. Our friends however, loved it.

This restaurant has always been one of our favorite in Charlotte. Dre is our go-to server. He is always kind, attentive, and consistently offers the highest level of customer service. Management has made some recent changes which has resulted in some noticeable improvements both with service as well as well as the quality of the overall experience. Chimas in Charlotte will continue to be one of our favorites!

Such a great experience! Not only did we have a waitress who was passionate about the food and drinks and very friendly, but every other person who came to our table exceeeded our expectations as well!! Thank you Patrica Baker for a great night!!!!
