American Burger Rivergate - Chaotte

Not sure how this place even has the 4.0 that they do, crafty marketing leads you to thinking the food will be amazing. Burger was over cooked, bottom of the bun was soggy and the staff was rude. Will not return!

I had a bad experience with the burger with 1000 island.. just a recommendation.. put the sauce on the side when ordering.. mine looks like an angry person made it.. empty store.. but mine had a gallon of sauce.. soaked the bread sooo bad, I returned it . Didn't want anything else.

Food was good, next time I would get a normal burger instead of the bison for a juicier bite. Tots were very crisp.

Overpriced and overdone. Burgers and fries were not terrible, just not a solid value.For the price and time we waited, 5 Guys just across the intersection would have been better. The burgers were ordered medium-rare. Both came out well done. Toppings were also missing on one of them. Neither issues are worth flagging one of the staff down, but something you wouldn't hope to deal with. The soda is also slightly off taste.Also the restaurant wasn't really a sit down service (ex. Red Robbin) but still prompts for tipping at time of payment. Just a little odd.

You 'll wait 25 minutes for a basic, no seasoning burger. Very mediocre for price. Fries slightly undercooked and left in warming tray until burgers were ready. So not fresh . Unbelievably slow service. I wish I 'd gone to McDonald 's
