Daylight Donuts - Chanute

I can't say whether the donuts are any good because every time I want to try them, the shop is closed. This morning, for instance, I went at 7:30 AM on a Saturday, and once again, they were closed. Ever since I moved back to Chanute, they've been closed every single Sunday morning as well. It's hard to believe! How can a business expect to thrive when they're locked up on days when people actually have time off and want to enjoy a donut? It's quite frustrating!

The donuts no longer seem to be handmade; they appear to be store-bought and ready to cook. Food: 3/5.

I went there with my family and the old-fashioned doughnuts are unbeatable!

A Chanute tradition the pinecones sell out quick so get there early.

Couldn't be happier with the friendly service we received from the great folks at Daylight Donuts in Chanute, Kansas. Their donuts, as well as any of the other food options they provide, are above and beyond. One might even call them heavenly!
