Just be sure to double-check your order with them. The prices are quite reasonable. The empanadas were different from what I'm used to; they have a fluffier shell and are sprinkled with powdered sugar, but they were still really tasty.
You might experience some wait times and may need to ask for things like dessert or drinks on your own, but it's definitely worth it. The food is absolutely delicious. We ordered the lomo saltado and flan, and the portions are generous—enough for two meals, so you can share or take leftovers home. The desserts are simply outstanding; you absolutely have to try them!
This restaurant served me the best burrito I've ever had, and it was gigantic! Plus, the price was really reasonable. I highly recommend it!
I really dislike having to say this because the food is truly fantastic, but the customer service I've experienced on both occasions—once for dining in and once for takeout—has not matched the quality of the food. The staff should recognize their potential and pay more attention to the details.
I've dined at many authentic Peruvian restaurants in my life, and this one is, unfortunately, the worst I've ever encountered. It felt like a total waste of money. The Jalea was unappetizing, with a dark brown color that suggested it had been fried in dirty oil. The bistec a la probe was dry, the fries were undercooked, and the egg was simply unacceptable (how do you mess up an egg?). I can't recommend this place to anyone, and I certainly won't be ordering from here again. What a disappointing experience for my dinner. This restaurant doesn't even deserve a single star.
