1 Ton Pub Grill

Unfortunately we had to leave without ever getting our food. We waited quite a while and then when we heard that the food may take over an hour we had no choice but to leave. It was already getting late and we have 3 small children who were hungry. Many others in the restaurant left as well. The restaurant was somewhat busy but not unusual and I asked the server what was up as this should be expected in a ferry town and at ferry arrival, she said that this happens all the time because they are understaffed and managment won't listen. Well managment, you might want to start listening....your workers don't seem happy and neither are many customers. Figure it out quick....you're in a perfect location and should be better than this.

It is sad. This is our 2nd attempt this week. We have been waiting for over an hour both time to be served soup and salads. 3 to 4 table have waited and walked out because of wait times. There are only 2 waitresses serving a full house upstairs and nobody working the cash. Awful management.

First time eating here. Portions were overwhelming the food and service was excellent.

I visited this place to relax after spending the entire day on the ferry. The food was excellent, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant.

As a local, my review might seem a bit biased, but I assure you that my Yelp reviews reflect my genuine opinions. If you're in Port Aux Basques, Newfoundland, you absolutely have to eat here. The wings are incredible—I've never found wings this good in Los Angeles. We also tried the fish and chips, and let me tell you, they really do serve a generous portion of fish. The food wasn't greasy at all, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The service was fantastic too. (Thank you, Tina!)
