Awesome place. Although it is not placed in a busy touristic village the traditional plates we got was amazing. We really enjoyed everything we ordered. Quantity and quality was excellent for all the plates and the people were kind and polite during our time there. The view from the balcony was great and the prices were reasonable. It really worths the time to drive there and I totally recommend it.

This was our first time in Kali Kardia. The food was very traditional, but good. The greek salat came with dakos and feta, but good seasonal greens. All the kalitsounias were tasty (cheese, onion and herbs), but the cheese and onions pie won Good lambchops and chicken as well. Fruit and watermelon after the food. Very good tsikoudia. Clean toilets! Recommended!

I visited this restaurant with friends from the neighboring village. We had the place to ourselves at 2:00 PM (end of the season) and enjoyed delicious homemade Cretan dishes. The young owners, who are the grandchildren of the previous owners, were excellent. There are steps on each side of the restaurant, but also a ramp on the left side for access.
