Thirsty Lion Gastropub Grill - Chandler

We decided to try the Thirsty Lion after yesterday's hike. It was great. The place was not crowded, surprisingly. They had many TVs and they were all on different college games and soccer and baseball very few TVs were the same. There were very few people sitting at the bar so it was great. We basically had the bartenders to ourselves! The old fashioned was tasty and the Gastropub burger was delicious, but a little messy to eat. Totally worth it. I will surely be back!

Came here tonight with my dad, his wife, my brother and his wife. We all ordered multiple drinks, appetizers and food. And wow! I don't think they can make anything bad. Everything was awesome!!! Waitress Alex was great and service was impeccable. The environment was good, music good and the layout of the place was nice and open. I'm very impressed since I had a bad experience at another location before. Def will only come back to this location.

My family decided to come here after having a horrible experience at a different restaurant and I'm thankful we did. Upon arriving i spoke with the manager regarding said experience, i wanted to make sure there wasn't a repeat. She was beyond helpful and sympathetic. My party of 8 five adults, two older children and one 10 month old) was accommodated accordingly. Our server was sooooo sweet and knowledgeable. My 10 month old nephew started to fuss and she made suggestions of orange slices or crackers to try to help my sister calm him. She was so attentive and cared about our experience there. I wish that i would have gotten their names because their service was impeccable. The manager went above and beyond with sending comped desserts to our table and said she was sorry about the treatment we received at the previous restaurant, it means a lot that she wanted to do a something special for us regarding a issue that wasn't even her fault and that didn't even happen there. It spoke volumes of the culture promoted there. We will definitely be back. The great staff and great management here created a great atmosphere!

This restaurant has a great selection of food and our server was really great but it really lacked additional staff. You could definitely tell they were short staffed which is so unfortunate because this place is really good for being here for the first time. We waited at the front for about 5 minutes before being seated by the same server we saw running around table to table, and she ended up being our server as well she was wonderful anyways! We tried the beer cheese soup and the cheese curds as appetizers , which was good, but by the time it got to us, they were both cold and really ruined the taste! Being from the Midwest, and proficient in cheese curds, we were excited to try, and they would 've been good, but the cold ruined the experience. I ordered the Rueben sandwich, which was delicious and the fries were homemade (from scratch). My husband ordered the Kung Pao chicken which was WAY too spicy for his taste buds!!! Again, being from Midwest, we are not used to the spices used down there and usually he 's a spicy guy...but be warned....this is SPICY!!!!! The waitress did take it off since he did only eat 4 bites of it. The meal was good for the most part besides the heat of his, and the lack of service on the refills of the drinks and not seeing the waitress till our meal was over....overall, I 'd give it another shot!

Food was alright... place was clean and nice! Drinks were very good! We sat at the bar and received pretty good service. I recommend for the drinks
