It had a lively atmosphere reminiscent of a Whiskey Row with live bands and a dance floor, although none of that was happening during our visit. We ordered a couple of beers, including an interesting Orange Julius sour which was quite tasty. For lunch, I tried the Nashville Hot Chicken which had a nice level of heat, but wasn't my favorite. My wife had the burger which she enjoyed. Overall, it was a good lunch experience, although a bit pricey.
The experience was just okay overall. We arrived early on Sunday morning and it wasn't overly busy. There was live music, which was a nice touch. I ordered the eggs Benedict hoping for a delicious dish, but it fell short. The potatoes were better than the eggs. The atmosphere was pleasant and the servers were friendly. I may give it another chance and try something different, but I'm not particularly excited to return.
The pizza had been cooked a little too long around the edges, but the garlic butter helped improve the taste. However, the tray it was served on caused the grease to pool in the middle, making the pizza a bit soggy. Despite this, the pizza was still pretty good. I also tried the catfish on another visit, and it was delicious. The live bands performing every day added to the great atmosphere of the restaurant.
I've been here twice and the first time was 5 starts! Just awesome, food and drinks were brought in a timely manner, service was excellent and the food drinks tasted great! Second time was about 3.5 stars, I was prepared for a wait because we went on St. Patrick's Day but when we got there, there weren't as many people as when we visited before so I thought I'd get the same service as my first. The service we did have was good but getting drinks took way too long (10+minutes- when we got one drink we ordered another because it wasn't going to be there until we were done with the one's we had or a little later), messed up a few food items on the ticket as well, i.e. wrong items made, missing parts of theitems. Food was still great when we got everything so were the drinks, especially the Shamrock Shot for St. Patty's day!
The personal is amazing, great energy, live music and overall great experience. the wings, drinks, steak and salat and pizza were delicious! the cast iron cookie with ice was for dying! rose and cordell are amazing!
