Green Corner - Chandler

Upon entering the restaurant, I was surprised to see a group of children at the counter who were unaware of what vegan food is. I expected the staff to be better trained in the restaurant business.

The hummus is perfect! I wish there were more vegan choices available, but unfortunately they are unable to make modifications since most of the food is pre-prepared. The staff is very friendly, but make sure to double check and ask for dairy-free options if you are vegan (as the pita bread contains dairy).

I often visit the restaurant in Mesa and I have to say, I prefer that location over the one in Chandler. The food is consistently delicious at both places, but the service at the Mesa location really sets it apart, especially during busy lunch hours. I used to have great experiences with the staff at the Chandler location over a year ago, but I haven't seen them lately. I also find it odd that I rarely receive free baklava at the Chandler location, even though I always do at Mesa, even when ordering the same dishes.

My experience at Green Corner last night was fantastic. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted promptly by two people behind the counter and was given a handwritten gluten-free menu upon request. The staff member proudly informed me that the bottled soda was made with cane sugar, which was a nice touch. We were also informed of the wait time for our order. As we sat down, we observed how each guest was treated with importance and care. When our order arrived, the staff member kindly offered to add extra cucumbers since we had requested no pita. This level of service is what we should expect from all food establishments, but unfortunately, it is not always the case. I am grateful to Green Corner for providing us with a fresh, hot, and delicious meal served by a team who truly cared about their customers. Our dinner at this unexpected gem of a restaurant was truly wonderful.
