Hotel restaurant Henri IV - Champlitte

We stopped here for a look around. We wanted a drink and some food. The lady was so rude we went elsewhere.

We had an evening meal at this hotel's restaurant on our recent holiday and can thoroughly recommend the food, the ambiance and the staff. We ate at a small outdoor table and could watch the world go by. The town itself is quite ancient with lots of historical features.

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night with our two children in our way to italy. I choose the hotel on booking.com not knowing what to expect. The result was very good , the hotel is an old little castle , restored nicely. Very comfortable beds, although a little bit to small ( my husband is 2m tall so the beds are for smaller people).Food in the restaurant was very tasty, the atmosphere was really nice and the family that runs this place was very pleasant and helpful.in conclusion : good value for the money, worth pay a visit even than it is a little bit too far from the motorway.
