Chinatown Buffet - Champaign

Great buffet restaurant in Champaign with a wide variety of delicious food options. We had a wonderful time!

My brother, niece, best friend, and I dined here over Christmas weekend. It was a great experience overall. The peanut sauce was a bit off, but everything else was delicious.

The host and waitress were friendly and attentive, which was appreciated. However, the crab rangoons were only lukewarm and not very generously filled. The pork fried rice was also barely warm, and the pork egg rolls were dry, crunchy, and almost stale. On a positive note, the ice cream was cold and enjoyable. My girlfriend did mention that the hibachi was good and offered a wide selection of fresh ingredients. If you decide to dine here, I recommend coming during peak hours to ensure you get hot food. For those seeking quality Chinese cuisine, I would suggest trying Panda Express or making a trip to QQ's in Taylorville, which is delicious.
