Puras Tortas - Chamblee

I stood waiting for more than 20 minutes for a young man of around 22-26 years old to serve me in a bad manner and rudely by telling me that I had to wait because he was making more orders. He didn't even go to take my order. I have never understood why they work in restaurants if they don't serve customers well.

They’re health score was a 40! They found rat droppings in the kitchen and areas that came in contact with the food! They say they are authentic!? No thank you I’ll stick to other better taquerias in the area! The salsa bar has flys all over it! I also saw the manager touch food with his hands after handling money

My wife and I finally had a chance to visit Plaza Fiesta on Buford Highway. We couldn't wait to visit Puras Tortas. They have a diverse selection of tacos that are $0.89 each! We tried the chicken, marinated pork, chorizo, and steak tacos. All were really good and full of flavor. They also have a selection of sauces, but I didn't need any of them. Next time, I want to try some of my adventurous tacos like the beef tongue and pork stomach. Can't wait to come back. Really good tacos. They also have a variety of other foods like quesadillas, etc

I ate here in 2017 and thought it was phenomenal! I don't understand why they have such a low rating. I definitely need to go back and check it out again! Half price on Tuesdays! Two of us ate for less than $10!

The sopes are no good if they have beans and cheese, not just the meat, those were roasted sopes.
