Samrab Kabkaow - Chai Nat

Left without eating. We read the reviews about the slow food, but did not imagine it to be this bad. When we arrived 2 tables outside with 4 customers each and one table inside with 6 customers had not received any food yet. However, after waiting for 45 minutes for our food, we realized that not only none of the other tables had been served, but the table next to us, that already received food, was still waiting for two more dishes. When we tried to leave, we were told that we were still queue number 3. Two stars only for the location and the service that tried their best. This restaurant has potential, but the kitchen is either understaffed or requires an organizational overhaul.

I give one star for the location, if I could give none, I will. we arrived to the restaurant at 8.15pm. and the waitress said, we will close if we didn’t get another reservation(not us). And then they took us to the table, we looking at the menu? The waitress start to say, we don’t have so many ingredient. And hurry us to order the food because the kitchen will close at 8.30pm. And also the food. we order 5 dishes but get only 4, and 2 dishes were ok but the other 2 is bad. And the service is so bad. *If you have another choices, better not come to this place!!. Thank you.

The food is fresh and delicious, but the prices are a bit high. There is a parking attendant available in front of the restaurant. The background music played during our visit was soothing and at a perfect volume. You can choose to sit outside right beside the Chao Phraya river. The staff is friendly and youthful. If you enjoy fish or seafood, this restaurant is a great option as the dishes look and taste fantastic.

This is my first time visiting Chainat and also my first time dining at this restaurant, which is located along the Chao Phraya River in a quieter, serene setting. My experience here was wonderful.

I hosted a dinner for ten people here and it only cost $3200. The meal was affordable and delicious. The menu has been recently updated with more pictures and an English translation.
