Food and service were amazing! Can't wait to go bacl

Despite having a reservation and a number of empty tables in the dining room, we were seated at a table next to the bar the music and bar patrons were rather loud, not really what we were expecting. While our server was initially attentive, he eventually found some friends at the bar and talked to them the majority of the time. Having our bread all but tossed at our table by a passing busboy didn't help either. The food was ok but not enough to warrant a return visit.

I am sorry to say, the food was just ok. I ordered an artichoke. It was under cooked and inedible. The rest of our food was ok. The service was terrible. Forgotten drink orders, extremely slow food delivery and forget food items. I spoke to the manager and asked if they had some call offs that evening. He admitted that he underestimated the amount of traffic he would receive that evening. By the way, it's Christmas time. He told him he probably won't have that problem in the future.

The beef rib special was excellent, indeed all of our party loved the food. Service was attentive but not intrusive and the snow meant for a quiet evening.

Waitress promoted pork chop as 2 time voted best in Cleve. Said chef prepares medium. I asked for medium toward medium rare. Came out well done. Sent back and next one was raw. Found out kitchen was serving party for 40. So I guess regular customers are less important. Manager was great. Asked if they could prepare something else but everyone I was with were finished eating. Told manager I would look at menu and decide. As I was looking at menu to order something else to take home, raw pork chop was returned. This time it went from raw to rare. Showed manager and just asked to box it up. Yes, we did receive 2 free desserts. Make sure to go when no parties are scheduled.
