Matthew Flinders Hotel - Chadstone

I went to the restaurant on a Wednesday night for a sports trivia night and was pleasantly surprised to find a $15 parma special. They also had a good selection of beers on tap.

Though I don't often visit this pub as it is not in my usual area, I have to say one thing about it...

This pub offers a $15 Parma night, steak night, and all the traditional pub fare you would expect. The food is tasty and the prices are reasonable.

Calamari was delicious and juicy. the shinitzel was juicy and tasty.

My friends and I have been here many times and always enjoyed our visit. this time the restaurant was too busy. there were several large groups presumably bowling parties. it was very loud; when both my friend and I arrived cold steak and sweet. I gave mine back. the ersatzsteak was hot, the sweet was a bit warmer, but the chips that I had originally asked for no salt came with something aroma that was undesirable. we will return, but not at a weekend. the waiting staff seemed to run from the feet and the service was down.
