The Half Moon Inn - Ceredigion

Searching for a typical old pub that serves food and accommodated dogs close to the area were my daughter has recently moved to and we were so lucky to find this treasure, We went there on New Years day to check the place over and we definitely were not disappointed such a warm welcome by the owner and a lovely log burning fire . The wine which they specialist in was wonderful especially the Merlot and excellent selection of other wines, Nice reasonably range of bar snacks including Portuguese cooking and Tapas. On enquiring about Sunday Lunch you need to book as the owner prepares all the food fresh . We are now looking forward to our first meal at The Half Moon and many future visits,

Visited here recently with my boyfriend while we are holiday and we loved it. The owners were incredibly welcoming, great food and the locals were friendly. We wouldn't hesitate to come back again!

The landlady and her family were most welcoming as were the locals in the bar. We had a wonderful music session in the lounge and staff couldn’t do enough for us. Excellent.

The Half Moon had to close three months ago due to flooding, but it has now reopened and is better than ever! This cozy Welsh pub, run by a family, serves delicious pub grub in generous portions. The olives and Piri Piri Chicken were fantastic, and the Irish Coffees were the best I've had in years. The staff always provide a warm welcome, and the service is top-notch. The beer, wine, and port selection is excellent, and the chips are also a standout. I highly recommend dining at the Half Moon - it's a must-visit spot for great food and drinks!
