Cardigan Steak House - Ceredigion

I was once dared to eat two trip dog cookies as a child, and I would never have thought I would ever wish that I was back at this moment in the time until I had to eat here! Now you could say that alarm bells should have...ranged when the waitress sneaks around a steak house in a winter coat, but I am not judicious and gave him the pretense; what a mistake! the place was freezing and I am uncertain how someone could come back from the toilets without catching a serious case of hyperthermia. cleanliness wise, I think they might have jumped that lection, like the cute was dirty and the waitress used their nikotin pickled finger to sift them through the steak knives that picked the best out of a bad baptism for us. the waitress was rude and glarvt as if she would tilt her lid when we made a kind of question for starters, for example! the sharing plate that had chicken wings came out in about 3 minutes. Knowing there were no massive high-tech super-speed cooking machines in this kitchen (as they go past to go the cold toilet) I can only assume that it was pre-cooked and reheated as it turned into mouth to dust. now a steakhouse suggests that its specificity is probably steak or the least they should be quite spiced at cooking!? not here. if they like that their steak still rode and quivering, good on them, but I asked for medium. the medium comes as blue, the rare comes medium, the medium/Rare as well as done, but somehow everything served colder than an Eskimos-sole! my friend has made a good commentary “My salat is warmer than my heirs” strange girls they might think, but no, somehow managed to use the salat at a higher temperature than both the heaps and steak on each of our 7 teller. an epic failure to make very simple meals. it's a wonder that I don't write this sat on a toilet because I'm really surprised that I don't like sick after my visit.

The best thing about this place is the friendly staff, but other than that, it was terrible. We decided to eat here on a Saturday afternoon and started to have doubts when the coffee tasted like powdered cappuccino. When the meal arrived, the burger with chips and salad looked okay at first glance, but the burger patties were strange red color and had a terrible texture. The chicken burger was a reformed chicken patty with a bad coating. The chicken nuggets for the children were soggy from the liquid wash. The burger buns were cheap supermarket buns that were frozen and cold. The chips were okay, but overall the meal was disappointing. When we walked past the kitchen on our way to the dirty toilets, we saw a pile of bread rolls on the work area which didn't seem very hygienic. Thankfully, we didn't get sick after eating here. Avoid this place for dining!

The meal was mediocre and I was disappointed that the steak was not cooked properly in a steakhouse. The fries were good, but I don't plan on returning.

I couldn't believe it, the steak was reasonably priced so I was a bit skeptical, but it turned out to be perfect. I was pleasantly surprised by the homemade chips. I usually can't stand frozen chips and end up pushing them aside. The side of sautéed mushrooms and vine-ripened tomatoes complemented the dish perfectly. The presentation of the chips showed that time and care were put into preparing them. Overall, the restaurant offers great value for money with their perfectly cooked steak and well-crafted chips that are allowed to sit and develop flavor without being rushed.
