We have always had a concern that because the Spanish have an aversion to tipping the hard-working staff in restaurants it has an adverse effect on the motivation and attention of the staff. Not so in Los Frutales, this place is worthy of a Michelin star. The staff are absolutely superb, the food is amazing and the value for money is outstanding. The trout is out of this world, the lamb is amazing and the desserts superb. The location is amongst the best in the world. We have eaten in restaurants from Beijing to New York and this place is up there with the absolute best. A Gem. Change the Spanish culture and tip well for the pleasure of eating in Los Frutales.
Very quaint B&B with excellent restaurant and service. The outside dining patios will make you feel like you are in a storybook. A stream runs through with swans, ducks, chickens, a horse and beautiful mountain setting.
A beautiful terrace!!! Very cozy, lots of plants. The trees form a natural ceiling covering the whole terrace. The staff was perfect, friendly and fast. The food is devine!
I have been meeting this restaurant since 1961, the year of my arrival on the edge, although the number of times I have gone is not excessive, perhaps because it is the one that has always maintained the highest prices of the village, although it deserves to be visited at least once for its quality and situation. located on the road of the dehesas, dates from 1910 when it was a restaurant inn where they stopped to eat and house shepherds who went with such sheep by the royal reed and the first mountaineers of this part of the mountain range. His name is given by the amount of fruit trees he had in orchards, on the way to today they become wonderful terraces where to eat when time does not prevent it, in the shadow of these same trees. When I'm eating, we usually ask the same thing. to start some good ham croquettes, to continue if it is winter with a rich consomé and finish with a trout of own nurseries with jerez sauce and Iberian ham. wine cellar for wine lovers is excellent, but you have to stay with the subsequent economic consequences. We ask for beer. If you want to go to eat in summer to such terraces and especially in weekend, it is essential to order the table in advance, I say it for your own experience.
A restaurant and rural hotel decorated with a lot of charm, just a kilometre from the village of Cercedilla, on the old Roman road. the hotel, built in the style of the mountain huts, has 6 rooms, and the restaurant has a fairly large dining room that is filled on weekends. to highlight the shoots of tudela, the foie of oca, the asturian fave, the merluza of puno, the rocky tongue, and the cramps with potatoes to the poor. desserts are 100 homemade and stand out apple puding and leaf cake. has a very nice terrace for the summer, with a very careful garden in which the orchids of several species stand out, 1,400 meters high!
