Stopped for Cerveza and Pulpo Tacos after the flea market. Streatside place outside the Westmost flea market. If this is the right place stop there and get the tacos. Tortillas made while we watched. Fresh and delicious.

We have stopped here twice for lunch and will be going back. Not a lot of atmosphere but great food. They give prompt service with good prices.

Okay... it's NOT dirty. You wont find this in any tour book, or on anyones list of places to be seen. This is a Mexican lunch place that serves straight up traditional Mexican food to Mexicans. It's located right across the street from the Mercado Municipal, and they make lunches for a lot of the vendors in the neighborhood who cant leave their shops. They also serve lots of taxi drivers and other locals. The menu is on the wall. I had carne tacos which had a spicy minced beef with some chorizo. Nuthin' fancy, just good. My wife had albondigas that were on special that day. These were Mexican meatballs served in a tasty soup broth. Off the chain! The restaurant was recommended by two local shop keepers so we decided to take a chance and we're glad we did. Check it out.

First time to Puerto Vallarta, what I’m learning is you have to go to the restaurants where the locals are eating and you won’t miss! I got the Cubano Torta and it was delicious! The bread was so buttery!
