They offer only four flavors, each priced at $1, and I sampled them all. While nothing particularly outstanding, the restaurant opens early for those seeking alternatives to the typical breakfast options in Chinatown. For the best experience, it is recommended to visit a bit later in the morning to avoid the morning rush and ensure fresher options.
Test the peanut, coconut and red bean aromas and all were delicious. Pancakes had generous fillings. Now $1.20 for a disc.
It is cheap, delicious and completely vegan. Flavours are red beans, coconut, peanut and peanut with peanut butter. It's on the second floor of the food court. The queue can be quite long in peak hours. Two peanut butter pancakes are enough for breakfast.
It's hidden on the second floor amongst a complex of cheap food vendors but it's worth looking for. Just four flavours and at $1 each I tried all of them. Nothing fancy but they're open early if you want something other then noodles for breakfast around China town. If you go super early you will have to walk past meat being hacked up so maybe wait an hour if you're squeamish.
This was my first experience trying Chinese pancakes, so I may not be the most knowledgeable judge, but I thought they tasted really good. I ordered two pancakes, which was enough for a satisfying breakfast, but I think a third would have been just right.
