D'life Shū Shí Somerset

Excellent food options, varied menu selection, and welcoming staff.

The restaurant is clean and tidy with friendly and professional service staff. There is a large variety of menu options available. Despite the promise from the service staff that the tontop-free carburized rice would be served, it was not available which was disappointing. The chicken pieces were tasty, but they may have been monkey-head mushrooms instead.

This cozy vegetarian cafe in Orchard Road offers delicious and affordable vegetarian dishes. It is easily accessible from the Somerset MRT station. The menu is similar to most vegetarian restaurants, but with a few unique items. One dish that caught my attention was the seaweed curry rice. I decided to try it and was pleasantly surprised. It consisted of rice topped with curry gravy and crispy seaweed. The small square cubes that resembled broth cubes turned out to be mockfish, adding an interesting twist to the dish. The atmosphere of the cafe is cozy and clean. I will definitely be returning to try more of their offerings.

Try it for the first time at dlife. the ingwer mee sua is very nice.

I’m in love with their signature Nasi Lemak! Sambal is shiok! Portion is big and price is low considering they are in orchard area. Staff is very friendly and kind. My first choice eatery place now in Somerset.
