Watermill - Central Dr, Hornchurch

This charming and cozy restaurant features friendly, attentive staff. They offer an extensive menu with high-quality dishes, and everything I've tasted so far—like the burgers, spaghetti bolognese, baked potato, and fry-up—has been delicious! Their milkshakes are also fantastic. The prices are reasonable, making it a wonderful spot for a satisfying lunch.

Oh my gosh... my friends have always raved about the Sunday carvery, and it definitely lived up to the hype! The roast beef and lamb were incredibly tender. The potatoes were absolutely delicious, not frozen or deep-fried. The cauliflower cheese was also fantastic!

Fantastic Cafe/Bar! The staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food is outstanding—I'd highly recommend the fry-up or the Bao buns. Additionally, it's conveniently located near the beautiful Wandle River, offering outdoor seating that's perfect for summer days.

Unfortunately, we visited the Calvary on its last day of operation. It is closing due to the increasing costs of heating and food. It's such a shame, as it was the best Calvary in the area, and the staff worked tirelessly. Thankfully, the café section will remain open.

I went in for a full English breakfast and found a long hair in my egg. When I notified the waitress, she initially claimed it was part of the egg. After a closer look, she eventually admitted it was hair. However, she didn't apologize, simply took the food and tossed it in the bin. She then asked if I wanted another one, but I declined and walked away. There were absolutely no apologies, and the staff was quite rude.
