Nando's - Central Dr, Hornchurch

By fat the friendliest staff who are eager and willing to serve you well work here. And i must say in this restaurant the staff morale is amazing, one big team, respectful and polite and the most excellent service i have received at any Nando's. Get your self in here b4 catching a movie next door, its worth the visit! Plus did i mention they do nice food too!

I've been dining at Nando's for over 10 years, and I still enjoy every visit. The chickens do seem smaller than they used to be when I first started going, but the overall dining experience has remained consistent. I highly recommend it! The prices are moderate for high-quality food, and the service is excellent.

I ordered the chicken with what I believe was the medium sauce, along with mashed potatoes and garlic bread. I must say, the mashed potatoes were a bit dry; I don’t remember them tasting this way in the States, but it could just be me. The garlic bread was good, and the chicken was delicious. My mom and cousin both enjoyed their meals as well, making it their first experience there. As for me, I will definitely be returning, whether to this location or any Nando's I come across, because I love it and I highly recommend it!

This review is for the location in Ilford, London. It was a disappointing experience! The staff were very rude, unprofessional, unfriendly, and seemed cold. The food was just as cold as the service. The bathrooms were also dirty. This visit completely ruined my fondness for Nando's peri peri.

Last night, I had a valuable life lesson moment with my seven-year-old daughter. We stood in front of Nando's, which was bustling with people, and next to it was a steak frites place that wasn't as busy. I asked her which restaurant we should choose without looking at the menus, and she opted for the less crowded one. I praised her for making a great choice for drinks and conversation, but I reminded her that you should never eat in an empty restaurant! Nando's has mastered the fast casual dining experience—it's all about grabbing a menu, placing your order at the table, or getting it to go. I ordered the spicy pork piri piri, and although it was on the milder side for someone accustomed to Mexican or Thai chilies, it had a nice, consistent heat without any burn. Overall, it was a win for fast casual dining!
