China Garden - Central Dr, Hornchurch

This restaurant was absolutely unacceptable. The cleanliness was lacking, with filthy walls, floors, and chairs. The booth seats and tablecloths were particularly stained and in desperate need of a thorough cleaning. The service was very disappointing; we found ourselves asking multiple times for items we had ordered. Most of the food was subpar, with only one or two dishes standing out positively. Unfortunately, every dish was overwhelmingly salty. The lemon chicken was overcooked and the sauce had a sour, fermented taste. When we expressed our dissatisfaction to the waiter, he merely laughed it off. Overall, we were very disappointed with our experience and will not be returning.

I’ve never dined in, but the takeout is always delicious. The staff are also very friendly whenever I go in to place my order.
