Cafe Rouge is a great location and has good service. The food is good, not amazing. The desserts are delicious. Enjoy

Staff were nice, food was actually okay. I have this thing where I judge a restaurant by the quality and cleanliness of their customer toilets. Sadly this is where things were let down. Not clean at all and very run down. Walls were stained! On top of that they smell. Not good enough in this day and age. What’s the kitchen like I wonder?

Had the afternoon tea. Not really worth the amount you pay! However nice couple of hours of relaxing and conversation.

Poor service. We've been there several times in the past 2 years and the service has been slow every time. Didn't accurately calculate our voucher discount. Tried to fob 2 people off with half a dessert each because they only had 1 portion in the kitchen, instead of being open honest with us. Delivery they should have had earlier in the day hadn't been done so the company is incompetent not just the restaurant itself.

Nice quality food, lovely staff. The food is interesting and wide ranging, well seasoned and tasty. It isn't ground breaking or novel, but provides a reasonably priced and enjoyable dinner at a fair price. My only criticism would be with the children's meal which suffered from an over large starter (garlic bread) and a ridiculously small desert (fruit salad).
