Woburn Thai - Central Bedfordshire

Woburn Thai feels like our home from home. Myself, my boyfriend and my family have been going to Woburn Thai for over five years now and we love it every time. The staff are so friendly and remember such small details about us each time, which makes us feel really special. Thank you to Woburn Thai for being so wonderful, i was there last night and already i cant wait to return.

Fantastic meal last night with our family. We have visited on numerous occasions and have never had anything other than amazing food and service. We just love it here and would recommend it to anyone!!

Food good, I wouldn’t say memorable Starters better than mains I felt Main issue is speed of service It’s like a conveyor We were laughing afterwards as we realised we’d left our house in Ampthill at 19:10 and we were back in the house for 21:10?! For those of you who don’t know, Woburn to Ampthill is about 15 to 20 mins you can do the math We had starters, mains and dessert!

Literally the best restaurant in the world. We've been to a fair few restaurants, but there is no place like the Woburn Thai. Just to name a couple of things we love: the loveliest, friendliest, most kind hearted staff in the world (never fail to be in a good mood as soon as you step into the place) the food is amazing (always order the duck massaman with garlic rice and you will never crave for anything else again) the atmosphere (beautiful decor, comfy seats, cosy without being cramped) Whenever I am back home, or we have something celebrate, we always come here and we'll never stop. Thank you all so much for making so many occasions that much more special!

Our first visit was only a couple on months back and that was an all round enjoyable experience so based on this we decided to meet up with some friends there . Overall for all of our party the food was excellent however there were 2 other factors that had a negative impact on this particular visit . The first being the staff’s bullish attitude as soon as you are seated , yes were were aware that there’s around 2 hours allotted to dining , while chatting etc we were waiting for 1 of our party to finish off their meal , the waitress came to our table and stood over them like a headmistress , we asked to give us another few minutes and she left . This made us feel less valued and was extremely rude , when she came back she presented us with the dessert menu however we were not inclined to choose anything , had the coffees that were part of of our mains , paid the bill and left . One other factor which we will bear in mind for any possible future visits at this time of year is where we would choose to be seated . We dined in the front room on the right as you enter , as this doesn’t have its own door, every time the front door was opened all diners in this room were hit with successive cold blasts of air which certainly do nothing to enhance the food which we did enjoy . There were times we all mentioned we wish we’d kept our coats with us but these had already been placed in the cloak room. Ok not sure if anything can be done to address this but the issue with the waitress is something that can be and hoping the owners read this review and take note that paying customers need to be treated with more respect rather than something your staff see as an inconvenience because they are focusing on the next booking .
