We enjoyed prawn toast, pepper chips, sweet and sour chicken, chicken chow mein, rice, chicken and mushroom, and beef and onion dishes. The portions were large and delicious. We have takeaway meals from this restaurant about once a month and we are always satisfied. Michael is always polite and friendly. This is definitely our favorite place to get takeaway.
I decided to order takeout from the local Chinese restaurant (Meedou) and it was a waste of money!! The chow mein was flavorless and the rest of the order was cold. We reluctantly ate it because we were hungry. I don't plan on going back there. Additionally, I had to go get cash to pay for the meal because they don't accept cards. They need to catch up with the modern world and hire a better chef or they won't survive much longer.
I had high hopes for this restaurant, but unfortunately, I was let down. The food was dry and lacking in flavor, and it left a strange aftertaste. The staff was friendly and there were no issues with service, but I do not plan on dining here again.
Tired this for the first time this weekend. All went well until I got home and found one of the mains missing having been charged for it. Those that we did manage to get were small portions and average at best. Not great value for the portion sizes... better Chinese takeaways around the area.
We were recommended to try this takeaway by a friend and travelled from nearby Ampthill to collect. Unfortunately we didn’t have a great experience. Portions were very small, not enough to share definitely not “family” sized. The sauces were gloopy and strongly flavoured with sugar and salt. The dishes lacked the usual vegetables e.g. the sweet and sour chicken “canton” style consisted of a handful of small chicken pieces, one small chunk of green pepper and about two small chunks of pineapple. The restaurant also forgot one of our dishes, but we were charged for it which we didn’t realise until returning home. Overall, would avoid and won’t be returning.
