The food is excellent with hearty dishes that are huge. The pork dishes, such as the Bigos stew and pork schnitzel, are superb, as are the buttery potatoes and lovely salads. The pork loin with mushroom sauce is the best I've ever had, made with proper mushrooms from Europe, not the supermarket variety. This is truly the best food I have had in a simple diner in years, and it is great value. It is a nice change to have traditional hearty food in Dunstable instead of another curry or Chinese buffet. I believe it is of the same quality as many places in Poland, in my opinion, having dined at dozens of places there. Agas is definitely one of my top 2 choices, along with Babcia Melina in Krakow. I recommend going here when you are hungry because the portions are enormous. Hopefully next time they will have a beer available.
I started with the mushroom, cheese, and veg baguette, which was incredibly large and delicious! My partner and I shared it and loved it. For the main course, I had the breaded chicken with mushrooms and cheese, served with boiled potatoes and a side salad. The portion was also huge and absolutely delicious. While they don't serve alcohol, they are happy for you to bring your own drinks. They do have a variety of soft drinks available. I highly recommend trying this place as the food is fantastic and reasonably priced. The service was also excellent.
Food in this place is absolutely delicious. Especially I would like to recommend żurek (sour soup) in a bread bowl. On top of that very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. I will surely get there back soon!
This restaurant has excellent flavor, generous portions, and reasonable prices - everything you could want in a dining experience. I highly recommend this place!
