I'm also currently obsessed with their pepperoni pizza. My wife usually gets the fish and chips. And don't overlook the fresh bread with sweet chili sauce – it's a must! It's definitely a great place to dine. Update: unfortunately, this Iggy's has closed down. What a bummer.
They offer a range of local beers on tap for $4.50 per pint (which is a full 16 oz), along with several cocktails priced between $7 and $10. You can also find some national beers available for a slightly lower price, while a pint of Guinness comes in at a relatively high $6.95. During my visit to catch a University football game, I opted for the lighter portion of the fish and chips. Although it came with just two pieces of halibut instead of the usual three, it was more than enough for a satisfying lunch. The fries were enjoyable, and the fish itself was good. However, the clam chowder I ordered left something to be desired; it was too thick, pasty, and lacking in flavor. Thankfully, I could wash it down with Iggy's signature Crimson Ale, which was quite decent. I primarily come to Iggys for the sports atmosphere, and that’s likely to remain the case. Whenever I do visit, I generally find that the food meets my lowered expectations, and the drinks are a nice addition in this otherwise dry county. Cheers!
This is the last remaining Iggy's, and I noticed they’ve stopped serving bread with the chili water, which was a popular choice among customers. We visited on a weeknight, so it wasn’t too crowded—only about three tables were occupied and a few people at the bar. The chicken ball appetizer was excellent as always, but my chicken was overcooked and quite dry. I didn’t find it worth the trouble to complain about it. It’s disappointing to see Iggy's struggling, as my family and I have been loyal customers since around 2006! The service and food quality aren’t what they used to be; our waitress seemed a bit annoyed by our presence, but she did a good job ensuring our orders were correct and that we had everything we needed, which I appreciated.
Went at about 11:00 at night. Very comfortable place and the service was great! Our server was very nice and on the ball with any questions or requests we had. I ordered the Chile Cheese Burger. At first glance it looked a little dull, and well, that's pretty much what it was. Not bad by any means, but nothing extraordinary. Think of just an average Burger with Chile on it. It was satisfying though. They had about three large screens that were conveniently placed with different football games (and fishing) which was nice. The wait for the food wasn't too long, and watching the biggest games on made it fly by. If your looking for a comfortable place to hang and watch sports, try it out. But if your looking for a place with top notch food, you may want to try somewhere else first.
I hope this location doesn't close! We were so disappointed when the Layton Hills location closed and now the Ogden location at the Junction! They have reduced there menu but still a good selection. They have added weekend brunch! Menu looks good!
