Contribuiți la feedbackI have to start by saying that Garlic Knot is my favorite pizza place in the area. They definitely make the best pizza out of all the local options. However, I have stopped eating there for one specific reason. While every other place in the area offers delivery through their own drivers on their website, Garlic Knot decided not to rehire delivery drivers and instead forces customers to use third-party delivery services like Grubhub or Doordash. The problem is that the delivery fees with these services make even a single pizza from Garlic Knot much more expensive than any other pizza place in the area. Additionally, the money I used to tip the drivers now goes towards these exorbitant fees. As a result, a place I used to visit weekly has now become a once-in-a-few-months treat at best. This decision to not rehire delivery drivers has driven away a loyal customer like me. While it may not be a big deal to the restaurant, as a customer who loves their food, I find it difficult to justify spending so much extra on delivery. Some may suggest picking up the order instead, but with my work-from-home schedule and their limited hours, driving to the restaurant isn't always feasible. I still visit occasionally, but I can't be the only one frustrated by this, can I?
Terrible customer service from the owner. Was lied to and then criticized when giving them an opportunity to make things right. Also, the restaurant is extremely dirty. Pizza is very oil, bring your paper towels. My response to the owner: I walked intothe store and asked ?do you have slices available RIGHT NOW?? Your answer was: ?yes?. After I paid, you then said ?actuallythose slices aren?t good enough, we?re going to have to make new ones?. After waiting for 30 minutes, the slices were finallyready and I asked very politely if you could spare an extra slice since I had to wait so long after being misled about slicesbeing available immediately. An owner with good customer service would have offered me something complementary for being misled,I should not have even had to ask. You then proceeded to kick me out of the store in front of other customers. Learn to takeresponsibility instead of not respecting your customers time and kicking them out of the store when they politely ask you tomake it right.
I was extremely disappointed with my experience. This was the second time in a row that my delivery was subpar, and I will not be ordering from this restaurant again. The pizza arrived cold on both occasions, not just lukewarm, but completely cold. Additionally, the garlic bread we ordered was mushy. Waiting an hour for cold food only made the situation even more frustrating.
A friend recommended that I read the 1-star review of Mr. Kingsleys. I also checked out Josh G's review. It seems like it's the same manager. It appears that they have been gifted a box of rocks instead of a brain based on the response to Josh. I have no intention of ever returning to this restaurant, and I suggest you do the same.
Great lunch specials. Awesome service and yummy food. Stuffed pizza and Italian sausage hero the best!!!!
