Tender Smokehouse - Celina

We have gone here countless times now. We are on the carnivore diet and this is our go to spot when eating out. The young lady at the counter knows us at this point and always makes sure we get extra pickles instead of the bread. The pickles are habit forming… Every time we go, we end up ordering enough meat to last us days so that we don’t have to cook at home. But most important of all, the Cat approves.

I do not understand the hype about this place AT ALL. the ribs had zero crust and were not good. The potato salad needed salt badly. Tue brisket sandwich was served on Texas toast which was odd, and the air. Intoning was not working. Again I know everyone raves about this place but Rudy’s would be a much better option

We were in the area and stopped into this place, we got the pulled pork and brisket. The pulled pork was just chopped pork with salt and the brisket was tasteless. Overall the meat wasn 't great and they relied too heavily on their sauce. The sauce was your average smokey bbq sauce similar to the one you can find at Rudy 's. I don 't recommen, even with the cheaper price, the food was just disappointing. Parking: The parking was a little far from the place or you parked along the street.
