The Castletown Inn - Celbridge

Excellent food! Great environment and very friendly staff! It is a perfect way to experience an Irish pub that is not filled with tourists.

Had some drinks with some friends in here recently. Drinks were nice, food was also nice. We had a girl serve us who was so bubbly and we were able to have a good chat with her which made our experience much more enjoyable. She and all the waitressing/waiting staff are a credit to you

My wife and I visited The Plant Collection in Stacumny Lane, Celbridge lately and it is a beautiful place. Their collection of potted plants and trees are vast and numerous. There are potted trees here for hundreds and thousands of euros , a lovely pond/small lake and a cafe. We had tea and a gourmet sandwich and savoury pastry in lovely summoundings outdoors. The cafe is reasonably priced and the food is very good. The horticultural staff include two girls who are experts in their craft and along with being pleasant, are very helpful. The plant Collection is a nice place to spend a morning or a few hours. I highly recommend here.

My brother and I had lunch here with a friend recently. There is a varied menu and service is normally good. We both had chicken wraps and our friend had a sandwich. The wraps were ok but lacked much filling. Lunch here was average but the annoying part is having to pay 2 euros to exit the car park. There was a time when, having had food or a drink, you could get a token to exit. Not any more. This is a small point but my friends and I will not be returning if the charge continues. Better luck next time.
