Bull On The Barn Bayshore Crab

My experience of this last visit was mixed as I once been here while I enjoyed the meal, I was somewhat disappointed in portion size of the broiled filled flounder (aprox.5 in length) I'll say, but the crab meat was practically all the crab meat... not bread.... Yes It was very good. The crab Bisque was ok..tiny pieces pen head size meat and the taste was nothing to write home. What really threatened me was that they were charged for every cup of coffee....$6 for 3 small....not even sure if it was 8 ounce cup. I'll go back, but probably never order drinks... just water.

We were here because we wanted to try this place. We sat upstairs and first it looks really rustic and nautical, but look closer and there was dust over the table and salt and pepper shaker. We ordered steaks (very well done). When we got them, we had to send them back because they were pink (no biggie). When they came back, my husband was done, but mine was still pink. I didn't send it back, but I didn't eat it. Our appetizers were 6 Jalapeno-Poppers and 3 pieces when garlic bread. Also no offers for refilling on drinks, because I think our waitress has forgotten that we are upstairs. My children were still hungry when we were gone and no, the steak was not taken from our 81.00 Bill. Well, we know that we will never return to this dirty, gloomy place. I don't recommend it!

Leisurely dining experience. Staff is active. Cook is excellent and friendly and very busy. Always great food and the eclectic surroundings always entertain. Meadows provide a natural calm.
